TYPOFABRICA PUNCTUATED PENCIL CASES

The creation of patterns only using punctuation marks. The pattern designs are contained in a swatches booklet, educating people on proper punctuation usage. Resulting fabric was used to create pencil cases.

THE CONVERSATION CLUB

The Conversation Club is aimed at re-educating people about the art of conversation. The Conversation Finger Flapper contains conversational starters and suggestions of where one can find topics to share with others.

A book celebrating the life of an Australia Icon; Florence Broadhurst.

Stop frame animation about dancing tea cups for a song by Caribou entitled, After Hours.

HELVETICA

Poster for the documentary by Gary Hustwit; Helvetica.

The title sequence uses quotes taken from the book, “Helvetica – Homage to a Typeface,” to explore the many differing opinions used to describe Helvetica. The song is called Pelican Narrows by Caribou.

BASTARD METROPOLIS

Set of 20 cards typographically exploring the Sydney Town Hall steps and the people that visit them, both past and present.

The reverse side of the cards form a floor plan of the steps and graphs events that have taken place on or within the hall since its construction.

SYDNEY DESIGN FESTIVAL

Corporate identity system for Sydney Design Festival 2009. Creation of logo type, style guide, GUI, email, posters, program and festival pass.

The website follows a similar format to the program guide by having all the information flow horizontally. Users can either scroll or use the dates at the bottom that link to events on their corresponding days.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

Illustrated poem by Ania Walwicz titled; Little Red Riding Hood. The imagery and type was created around the metaphor of a house being the body of the women in the poem.
